April, 22, 2021 Managing Editor of journals “Business Ethics and Leadership”, “SociEconomic Challenges” and “Financial Markets, Institutions and Risks” participated in the online webinar “Scopus selection criteria and process for journals”, organized by Katarzyna Gaca-Zając, PhD Eng., Senior Customer Consultant for Central-Eastern Europe, Elsevier.

The purpose of the article is to comprehensively present the journal selection criteria and process carried out by the independent Content and Selection Advisory Board. The speaker acquainted participants in detail with the scientometric database Scopus, the stages of application and evaluation processes of the publication. Managing Editors also had the opportunity to find out what shortcomings are most common when evaluating journals and how they can be corrected to increase the journal’s chances of indexing. All participants got certificates.
