Self-Archiving policy

Business Ethics and Leadership is open access journal that publishes articles under CC BY 4.0 license. Authors own the copyright to their articles at all stages of submission and publication, and can copy submitted, accepted and/or published PDF articles on preprint servers, institutional repositories, appropriate subject repositories, the author’s own website, copy or deposit other forms of research networks.

Articles must state that their reuse is allowed to the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0). A link on our website must be included.

The Journals self-archiving policy is presented on the eSSUIR (Electronic Sumy State University Institutional Repository), Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine, SHERPA/RoMEO site. 

 

eSSUIR (Electronic Sumy State University Institutional Repository) is the electronic archive of Sumy State University, which collects, stores, distributes and provides long-term, constant and reliable access to scientific research of academic stuff, workers and students of the University. This open access resource, hosted on the UNIVERSITY server on the Internet and available from anywhere and at any time, aims at collecting and storing the intellectual products of the university community in electronic form. Besides, eSSUIR promotes the distribution of materials in the world scientific and educational space, provides free access to scientific information for Ukrainian and the world scientific community. According to the results of the February 2022 version of the global Transparent Ranking by Webometrics, the repository of Sumy State University is the first among the institutional repositories of Ukraine in terms of the number of documents indexed by Google Scholar (61,700). Our repository is on the 35th place among 3,751 institutional repositories in the world and on the 45th place among 3,885 repositories in the world.

Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine is a leading state cultural, educational and scientific institution. It has many years of experience in research and publishing activity. The fundamental and applied scientific studies in various areas are published there. They are available in electronic form in the NBUV Repository. The repository is a part of the general electronic information resource of the NBUV.

Sherpa Romeo is an online resource that aggregates and presents publisher and journal open access policies from around the world. Every registered publisher or journal held in Romeo is carefully reviewed and analyzed by the specialist team who provide summaries of self-archiving permissions and conditions of rights given to authors on a journal-by-journal basis where possible. The policy information provided through this service primarily aims to serve the academic research community.

Authors can share their research in a variety of different ways.

Preprints (the author’s version of the article prior to submission to the journal for peer review, which has not been edited or typeset). Authors may post their submitted version of the manuscript on their personal website, institutional repository or a subject repository such as arXiv, RePEc, Research Gate, etc. In this case, the author should make acknowledgement to the Publisher or journal as follows: “This is a pre-peer-reviewed version of the paper submitted for publication to [Business Ethics and Leadership] published by Sumy State University.

Accepted Author Version (the version after amendatory process following the peer-review, but before copyediting and proof correction). Authors can post the Accepted Author Version on their personal website, blogs or institutional repository, privately with students or colleagues for their personal use. In this case, the author should make acknowledgement to the Publisher or journal as follows: “This is an accepted peer-reviewed version of the paper. The published version of the article is available at http://dx.doi.org/[DOI of the article]”.

Final Version (after the copyediting and proof correction). The author can share the final version via any institutional repository, arXiv, RePEc, Research Gate. In this case, the author should make acknowledgement to the Publisher or journal as follows: “This is a published version of the paper, available at http://dx.doi.org/[DOI of the article]”.
