Copyright and Licensing

For all papers which published in “Marketing and Management of Innovations”, the copyright is retained by the author(s) of the papers. All papers are licensed by open access Creative Commons CC BY license. It permits use, distribution and reproduction of the article in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited. The CC BY license permits commercial and non-commercial reuse.

If the authors used the previously published information (text, figures, tables, and etc.) they should receive the permission for using and republishing. It should be done before submitting the paper. It will not require to do If the previously published information don’t have the copyright, or it is the public property.

In the following case the permission should be received:

  • Your paper is published by other publishers without retaining copyright.
  • Your paper used Tables, Graphs, Figures which have not changed by you or slightly changed.
  • Figures, Photographs, 3D Models, for which the authors don’t have the copyright.
  • If the author(s) received the permission they should indicate the following: “Reproduced with permission from “Author First and Last Name”, “Title of the sources”; published by “Title of the Publisher”, “Year”.

In the following case the permission should not be received:

  • If the paper contained Tables, Graphs, Figures which are cardinally changed or/and improved by the authors. In this case, we strongly recommend to indicate “It is modified based on….”, “It is compiled/summarized/calculated based the data from…..”
  • If you used the part/fragment of your own results which have been published before. In this case, the authors should cite the relevant sources which published this material.
  • Short citations don’t require the permission, however, the authors should indicate the relevant citations in the text for corresponding references.

Please, pay attention, that author(s) should avoid using the any form of citation manipulation which explained in detail by COPE Guidelines on Citation manipulation.

Editorial Board of the journal “Marketing and Management of Innovations” takes issues of scientific misconduct, copyright infringement, plagiarism or other breaches of best practice in publication very seriously and are focused on protecting the rights of the authors.

Authors (co-authors) who have submitted articles for publication in the journals must adhere to ethical principles while conducting research and writing manuscripts.

Editorial Board of the journal is responsible for the quality of the published articles, but the ethical responsibility for the content of each published article is left to the author (co-authors).

The authors (co-authors) guarantee that their manuscript is original, does not violate intellectual property rights, as well as the fact that this material has not been published anywhere before and not submitted to print in other journals.
