Розширена анотація українською мовою
У статті узагальнено аргументи та контраргументи в межах наукової дискусії з питання гендерної нерівності. Основною метою проведеного дослідження є виявлення фактів прояву гендерної дискримінації на підприємствах та в установах Вірменії. Систематизація літературних джерел та підходів до вирішення питання ґендерної нерівності свідчить про значну актуальність проблем пов’язаних з проявами дискримінації на етапах відбору персоналу, оплати праці, кар’єрного зростання залежно від статі працівника. Актуальність вирішення даної наукової проблеми полягає в тому, що працівники жіночої статі стикаються з проблемою дискримінації частіше, ніж чоловіки. Аналіз даної проблеми засвідчує, що навіть на керівних посадах чоловіки частіше за жінок отримують підвищення. Дослідження проводиться в наступній логічній послідовності: на першому етапі відбувається аналіз наявних статистичних даних та емпіричних досліджень даних питань, після чого на основі соціологічного опитування жителів Вірменії проводиться виокремлення найбільш поширених практик прояву гендерної дискримінації. Методичним інструментарієм проведеного дослідження стали методи аналізу та синтезу даних, опитування та статистичні методи: крос-табуляція з тестом хі-квадрат Пірсона. Об’єктом дослідження є працівники підприємств, установ та організацій Вірменії. У статті представлені результати емпіричного аналізу, які засвідчили, що жінки Вірменії частіше стикаються з проявами дискримінації як у сім’ї так і на робочому місці, мають менше можливостей для просування по службі, стикаються з проблемами, пов’язаними з обмеженнями, поганим ставленням, дрес-кодом та ін. Дослідження емпірично підтверджує і теоретично доводить, що основні кроки для регулювання питань гернерної дискримінації повинні полягати в: підвищенні рівня поінформованості населення щодо забезпечення гендерної рівності як складової системи освіти, поліпшенні державної політики, узгодженні зусиль неурядових організацій тощо. Результати дослідження можуть бути корисними для державних органів, учасників ринку праці, організацій, навчальних закладів, дослідників та ін.
