У статті узагальнено аргументи та контраргументи в межах наукової дискусії з питань запровадження трансформаційного освітнього лідерства та інноваційних стратегій, що забезпечують отримання високих результатів викладання у Сполучених Штатах Америки. На сьогодні існує значна кількість характеристик академічного лідерства, що лежить в основі оцінювання взаємодії між ад’юнктами факультету на онлайн-платформі вищої освіти. У даному дослідженні основна увага акцентується на досвіді академічних лідерів, використання якого сприяє формуванню у викладача почуття включеності, залученості та підтримки в Інтернет середовищі. Застосування життєвого досвіду академічного лідера в практиці онлайн ад’юнктства робить позитивний внесок у діяльність закладу. Це слугує запорукою поліпшення взаємодії між академічними лідерами та сприяє розбудові системи адекватного лідерства у навчальному закладі. Систематизація літературних джерел та підходів до вирішення проблеми академічного лідерства засвідчує доцільність врахування індивідуальних стратегій, за яких керівник визнає цінність тимчасових викладачів, які працюють онлайн, для своєї установи. Актуальність наукового дослідження визначається життєво важливим впливом академічних лідерів на ефективність роботи викладачів на онлайн платформах. У статті було здійснено класифікацію факторів розбудови системи академічного лідерства ефективне впровадження яких сприятиме збільшенню кількості викладачів, що викладають за допомогою онлайн платформ. Факторами, які є життєво важливими для розширення практики академічного лідерства визначено використання різноманітних стратегій лідерства спрямованих на сприяння залученню викладачів до Інтернет-середовища. У роботі представлені результати емпіричного аналізу окремих стратегій залучення викладачів до онлайн навчання з точки зору наступних їх складових: історія он-лайн освіти, дистанційного навчання; характеристики лідерства; інструменти підтримки лідерства для дистанційного навчання; проблеми лідерства; вигоди від залучення академічного лідера; комунікативні перешкоди при використанні віртуальних платформ у вищій освіті. Результати дослідження можуть бути корисними для всіх академічних лідерів на бакалаврському, магістерському та аспірантському рівнях вищої освіти у всьому світі.
