Метою даного дослідження є розвиток організаційної етики та заохочення етичної культури в державному секторі Південної Африки. Систематизація літературних джерел і підходів до вирішення проблеми корупції засвідчує необхідність дотримання принципів організаційної етики для забезпечення та збереження умов, необхідних для підтримки цілісності демократичних інститутів і процесів. Актуальність вирішення цієї наукової проблеми полягає в тому, що дане дослідження спрямоване на дотримання етичних принципів, викладених у розділі 195 Конституції Південно-Африканської Республіки 1996 року, згідно з яким демократичні принципи повинні керуватися урядовою адміністрацією Південної Африки. Дані цілі можуть бути досягнуті шляхом впровадження сильної системи управління організаційною етикою. Дослідження в статті проводиться в наступній логічній послідовності: проведено аналіз рівня корупції в державному секторі Південної Африки, на основі чого обґрунтовується значення управління організаційною етикою в зниження рівня корупції. Методологічний інструментарій дослідження включає в себе апаратне вивчення наявної літератури та офіційних законодавчих і нормативних документів, необхідних для дослідження. Теоретичний та контекстуальний аналіз проблем управління організаційною етикою було проведено з використанням методології якісного дослідження та трендового аналізу. Результати дослідження засвідчують, що, незважаючи на те, що південноафриканський уряд запровадив процедури виправлення неетичної поведінки в державному секторі, факти фінансових зловживань та корупції продовжують переважати в розслідуваннях контролюючих органів, комісій із розслідувань та ЗМІ. Ці випадки також включають недотримання законів і правил. Крім того, зроблено висновок про неналежне впровадження дисциплінарних процедур та використання механізмів нагляду. За результатами дослідження надано пропозиції щодо напрямків зміни державної політики та визначено перелік першочергових коригувальних заходів, характерні для ситуації в Південній Африці. Надані практичні рекомендації щодо підтримки етичного середовища в державному секторі Південної Африки можуть бути корисними для представників сфери державного управління та інших державних установ. Хоча тема корупції не є новою, вона все ще потребує постійного діалогу та участі між науковцями, законодавцями та політиками, з метою пошуку рішення, адаптованого до особливостей кожної нації.
