Події азіатської фінансової кризи 1997 року сформували передумови до подальшого зміщення акцентів корпоративного управління підприємствами в напрямі підвищення їх фінансової стійкості, зростання прибутковості та мінімізації фінансових ризиків. Незважаючи на визначальну роль технологічних компаній в епоху передових інтернет- технологій, Малайзійська фінансова наука та практика не відзначаються широким вибором/ наукових досліджень в питанні взаємозв’язку інформаційних технологій та корпоративного управління підприємствами. Метою проведеного дослідження є аналіз взаємозв’язку між показниками/ корпоративного управління та фінансовими показниками діяльності малайзійських технологічних компаній. Об’єктом дослідження виступають 27 малайзійських технологічних компаній, періодом дослідження обрано роки з 2010 по 2014 рік. Методичним інструментарієм проведеного дослідження став множинний регресійний аналіз. Для здійснення емпіричних оцінок обґрунтовано набір показників фінансової результативності підприємств (прибутковість активів і прибутковість капіталу) та індикатори корпоративного управління (кількість незалежних директорів в правлінні підприємства, гендерна різноманітність ради правління та незалежний комітет з аудиту). В статті представлено результати емпіричного аналізу зв’язку між процесами корпоративного управління технологічних підприємств та їх фінансовими результатами, що засвідчили позитивний вплив гендерної різноманітності ради правління на прибутковість малайзійських компаній, тоді як ефекти впливу кількості незалежних директорів в правлінні підприємства та наявність незалежного комітету з аудиту в роботі не виявлено. Результати проведеного дослідження можуть бути корисними для фінансового менеджменту технологічних підприємств в частині визначення ними ключових напрямів удосконалення системи корпоративного управління підприємствами, що дозволить покращити показники їх прибутковості, прозорості ведення фінансової діяльності та довіри і схильності до співпраці інвесторів у перспективі.
