Ця стаття узагальнює аргументи та контраргументи в межах наукової дискусії в сфері етики з огляду на релігію, культуру та корпоративні скандали. Основною метою проведеного дослідження є визначення етичних порушень, які стали загальним явищем у всьому світі, особливо серед великих компаній та керівників вищого рівня, і призвели до серйозних корпоративних помилок, бухгалтерських скандалів, що є передумовою банкрутства та обману зацікавлених сторін. Зазначається, що існує потреба у проведенні самоаналізу етичних цінностей та їх впливу на підприємства з тим, щоб майбутня корпоративна соціальна відповідальність та етика керівництва при управлінні персоналом мали обов’язковий характер. У роботі досліджується роль релігії і культури в етиці та можливість її застосування для покращення корпоративної поведінки, а також базові причини корпоративних скандалів та їх етичну перспективу. В статті викладено методологію дослідження щодо аналізу внесків релігії та культури в сферу етичних відносин. Методичним інструментарієм проведеного дослідження став метод Парето, що дозволило здійснити групування причинних факторів корпоративних скандалів. В статті представлено результати емпіричного аналізу, який засвідчив, що 80% основних причин виникнення корпоративних етичних скандалів можна віднести до етичного виміру утримання від шахрайства (72,22%). Дослідження підтверджує та теоретично доводить основні причини неетичної ділової практики та аморального лідерства. В статті наведено загальні риси етичної поведінки, а саме: прозорість, довіра, стійкість, справедливість та утримання від шахрайства та корупції. Результати проведеного дослідження можуть бути корисними зацікавленим сторонам для активного впровадження в економічній та юридичній діяльності фірм та урядів етичних засад корпоративної поведінки, які можуть допомогти у запобіганні етичних порушень та поліпшенні корпоративної стійкості, іміджу та репутації.
