Стаття присвячена питанню впровадження ІТ у господарську діяльність та його впливу на товарообіг домашніх господарств. Основна мета дослідження полягає у визначенні та аналізі ключових факторів інформаційно-технологічного спрямування, які впливають на обсяг виручки від реалізації товарів (робіт, послуг) домашніх господарств у Непалі. На сьогодні існує значна кількість наукових досліджень, які описують успішне використання ІТ-технологій у розвинених країнах та країнах, що розвиваються. Водночас недосконало вивченим є питання готовності впроваджувати різноманітні інформаційні технології в діяльність домашніх господарств у низькорозвинутих країнах світу, що й стало предметом для дослідження. Первинні дані були зібрані шляхом проведення інтерв’ю з 210 представниками домашніх господарств з чотирьох районів Лумбіні, Непал. Анкета охоплювала питання про фактори, які впливають на готовність домогосподарств впроваджувати ІТ у свою господарську діяльність. Методичним інструментарієм проведеного дослідження стала модель біномінальної логістичної регресії, а періодом дослідження обрано два з половиною роки. Надійність обраного інструментарію дослідження вимірювалася за допомогою альфи Кронбаха. Результат дослідження емпірично підтверджує та теоретично доводить, що в тих домогосподарствах, які мають доступ до Інтернету, забезпечені телефонним зв’язком та наймають додатково робочу силу, то продуктивність їх діяльності та виручка від реалізації продукції є вищими. Авторами статті виявлено, що товарообіг домогосподарств збільшується з кожним роком їх функціонування. Результати дослідження можуть бути корисними для політиків, дослідників і власників/менеджерів домашніх господарств.
