Індустрія туризму стала важливою галуззю, яка має істотний вплив на розвиток економіки країни. Однією з найбільш значущих переваг розвитку туризму є будівництво та покращення місцевої інфраструктури. Бангладеш має значний потенціал для розвитку туристичної галузі, оскільки ця країна є привабливою як для залучення місцевих, так і закордонних туристів. Проте маркетологи у сфері туризму та суміжних галузей повинні використовувати різні підходи, щоб задовольнити та утримати наявних відвідувачів туристичних об’єктів, заохотити нових та потенційних туристів. Метою даного дослідження є визначення пріоритетних факторів обрання туристами місця відпочинку в Бангладеш. Для аналізу обрано наступні фактори: початкові знання про туристичне місце, репутація туристичного місця, безпека та захищеність, мотивація до подорожі, обсяг інформації в соціальних мережах про місце відпочинку. Для потреб даного дослідження використано описовий метод. У дослідженні використовувався метод цільової вибірки. Первинні дані були зібрані на основі опитування 256 туристів-резидентів, які відвідували туристичні місця в Бангладеш, з використанням спеціально розробленої структурованої анкети та п’ятибальної шкали Лайкерта. Для аналізу даних було використано програмне забезпечення Статистичний пакет для соціальних наук (SPSS) версії 25.0. Первинні дані були проаналізовані за допомогою інструментів описової статистики, тесту на мультиколінеарність, аналізу надійності та множинного регресійного аналізу. Результати регресійного аналізу показали, що всі аспекти, крім мотивації подорожі, мали значний і позитивний вплив на вибір місця відпочинку в Бангладеш. Отримані результати дослідження можуть бути корисні для потенційних туристів, дослідників, академіків, державних органів, туристичних компаній, політиків та всіх зацікавлених сторін. Отже, результатами дослідження можуть бути імплементовані в туристичну політику, що сприятиме зростанню туристичного потоку у Бангладеш.
